Hi Everyone,
My blog is a little different this week. Although there are several cruise, Vegas, resort and Disney specials that I'll share with you when I return home this next week, I wanted to let you know how beautiful the Irish countryside is. We arrived early Friday morning and spent the first two days in Dublin. We moved on to Waterford on Saturday and on the way, stopped at the Irish National Stud Farm. We saw award winning stallions, and 1 and 2 week foals. Absolutely amazing.
In Waterford, we visited the Crystal showroom. Unfortunately, Waterford Crystal has gone bankrupt and the factory itself is closed.
Today, we visited Blarney Castle where many of our party kissed the Blarney Stone. Others of us shopped at the Woolen Mill and came away with nice, warm Irish sweaters. Tonight we took a boat ride on Kenmare Bay. Tomorrow is the Ring of Kerry. Then we'll be off to Galway and Sligo. The trip is going quickly. We will be home soon. Next week, I will try to post some of the pictures we've taken of the Irish countryside.
